Five of Cups

This is surely not a card anyone hopes to see turning up in a spread for any point in their future – except possibly to warn against pursuing an opportunity. I did not actually pull a card when something like this happened recently, but a little cynical voice kept telling me it would prove to be a waste of time.

Apparently the prerogative of the customer in this case was do all this, and more. At least one party concerned did take on some liability though.

This card comes from a project I actually began decades ago. Quarantine and the help of a very kind fellow deck creator meant that I was able to bring my indie tarot deck into the present, when to begin with everything had to be done by hand.

I christened it the Chalice Tarot Deck, and it is available at Gamecrafter in three sizes:
